That's our story. Make it your story. Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement.
Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Automation Power Reliability in Canada. You will be mainly accountable for: • Participate in the drafting/improvement of assembly instructions for the various production areas in the plant.
• Create drawings of work areas. • Establish kanbans for wire, chute and production consumables. • Improve manufacturing processes, performance verification and methods with clear acceptance criteria.
Qualifications for the role: • Bachelor's degree in automated production, industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent will be given priority • Proficiency in Office suite (Project and Excel) • Good knowledge of AutoCad Reading of drawings and electrical diagrams • Excel scripting and programming experience (an asset) • Knowledge of electrical standards (ANSI, CSA, IEEE, UL and others) an asset • French mandatory Why ABB?
