Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: R&D Team Lead __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement.
Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: {onsite} You will be mainly accountable for: • Implement and improve firmware for instruments products • Write design and test case documents • Do unit test and assist test engineer to verify functionality • Maintain existing code and improve code quality • Support and fix issues in production • Support system test • Other tasks by supervisor Qualifications for the role • the fourth-year of student or above, major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Measurement and Control, or other equivalent fields • Linux system basic skills and knowledge including "Make, GCC, GDB and bash", MUST • Experiences on software version control by Git, MUST • Experiences on C/ C++ and Python language, MUST • Be familiar with using skills and writing skills for GitHub Copilot Agent • 4 working days out of one week are available, MUST • Experiences on firmware development is big plus.
• Driver (IIC,SPI,UART,ADC) development under RTOS system, HW knowledge is big plus • Willing to learn new knowledge, self-motive, team sprit What's in it for you?
