You will be part of a team that manages customer orders, inquiries and facilitates the lease/sale/repair/exchange of Airbus proprietary tools, Airbus proprietary parts, vendor tools, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Meet the Team: The mission of the Tooling and Repair Services Americas department is to provide our customers with the highest level of quality service when they are requesting to lease, purchase, repair, or exchange Airbus Proprietary Tools and Parts, among other offerings.

We are a 17 person team with a variety of professional backgrounds, which has contributed to a diverse range of expertise that enables us to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers.

Your Working Environment: The Washington, D.C. metro area is home to multiple Airbus offices: In our nation’s capital you will find the Airbus Experience Center, a collection of interactive, multimedia exhibitions highlighting the extensive role the company plays in the aviation, aerospace and defense industries in the U.

S. and around the world. The D.C. area is also home to our regional corporate headquarters – located adjacent to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) - it makes flying in a breeze!

Program Highlights: • Participation in the Summer 2027 Intern Program: May 17th - August 6th 2027 • Intern project focused on supporting our Process and Performance Manager on transposing internal processes and work instructions into published ready versions that will be uploaded to our document storage and management system.

• Intern project focused on evaluating, recommending, and implementing new performance analytics dashboards using internal tools. • Dedicated project mentor Your Challenges: Customer Support : 80% • Assist with Airbus and Vendor Tool sale, lease, repair, and return orders as well as Airbus proprietary parts repair, exchange, lease and return orders.

• Assist in customer, supplier, and repair shop communication, as needed. • Support tool packages process and collaborate with internal teams in an efficient and timely manner.

• Support and assist with Unical integration and onboarding with Satair repair team Process Improvement : 20% • Collection and analysis of lessons learnt and corrective actions for missed tool lease/sale/repair opportunities.

• Support identifying training opportunities for the team as well as preparation for pre-scheduled training sessions • Support digitalization across the ASOMRU team Additional Responsibilities : • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your Boarding Pass: • Required: • HS Diploma/GED and currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college or university. • Able to work onsite in Herndon, VA for the duration of the Summer Internship.

• Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal • Must be well organized and have good time management skills • Self-starter and able to work independently • Good coordination and cooperation skills • Ability to work in an international context • Preferred: • Seeking degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Communications, Manufacturing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Skilled in the use of computer/programs to include Microsoft/Google Suite • Experience using Excel/Google Sheets and other business integrated systems • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and/or airline operations • Knowledge of various hand tools, power tools, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing processes • SAP knowledge is a plus Physical Requirements: • Onsite : 100% • Vision : able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.

Required daily. 100% • Hearing : able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms.

Required daily. 100% • Speaking : able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Required daily. 100% • Equipment Operation : able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.

Required daily. 100% • Carrying : able to carry documents, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs. Daily. 20% • Lifting : able to lift documents, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs.

Daily 10% • Pushing / Pulling : able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Rarely required.10% • Sitting : able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.

Required daily. 90% • Squatting / Kneeling : able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Required infrequently. 10% • Standing : able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.

Required daily. 50% • Travel : able to travel independently and at short notice. 0% • Walking : able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.

Required daily. 30% • Personal Protective Equipment required:  Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site 100% • Personal Protective Equipment required : steel toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Pay Range: Hourly range based on the required profile: $24 - $39.75/hour. Rate determined by type of degree program and year in school (Bachelors through Masters).
