Industrial Engineering Co-Op

Location: Middletown, OH Co-op term may be completed during either the Spring (January to May) or Summer (May to August) semester, with timing to be discussed during the interview process.

As an Industrial Engineer Co-Op at Cleveland-Cliffs, the projects assigned will vary based on the intern’s education level and plant location, but will generally reflect the duties outlined below.

Summary of Responsibilities: • Assist in studying job descriptions and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and identify areas of duplication.

• Assist with work measurement programs and perform time work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. • Assist with analyzing work force utilization, facility layout and operational data, such as, production costs process flow charts, and production schedules.

• Various other tasks as needed Minimum Qualifications: • Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Industrial Engineering or other related technical degree • Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027 Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
