What you'll own
- You will be responsible for supporting the Indianapolis Exits Manufacturing Plant through the Lean transformation and daily management initiatives.
- will ensure the principles, practices, and tools are incorporated into the Allegion culture.
- As the Operational Excellence Lean Specialist , you will have the opportunity to interact directly with all levels of plant operations and corporate leadership .
- is key to the implementation and support actions that will bring about improvements to multiple areas including safety, customer value proposition, quality, delivery, cycle, growth, margin expansion, and inventory.
Requirements and eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree desired in preferably a management, leadership, engineering, or supply chain course of study; relative experience could be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a position associated with lean concepts or Toyota Production System.
- Ability to positively influence and motivate teams to facilitate change.
Preferred, not required
- Experience with distribution, warehousing and/or logistics facilities a plus.
- You would ideally have some level of understanding of PowerBI, WMS, MES, and ERP systems.
