Role overview
What you'll own
- You will gain valuable experience in tooling, equipment and process design as you support new product launches, apply problem solving tools and make improvements in our existing manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for designing engineering solutions for tooling, fixturing and/or controls while they are part of the Indy Exits process engineering team as they support new product launches and operational improvements.
- Design equipment/tooling, quote equipment, present options, and implement (with supplier, maintenance, tool room, controls and engineering support).
- Support execution activities for robotic automation projects in Assembly operations.
Requirements and eligibility
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), or related field.
