Role overview
What you'll own
- You will gain hands-on experience defining and implementing firmware features for access control and automatic door systems, support product validation, and collaborate closely with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams.
- Develop, debug, and test embedded firmware for microcontroller-based products.
- Participate in requirements definition and design discussions for new firmware features and product updates.
- Implement and maintain device drivers, communication stacks (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, BLE as applicable), and peripheral interfacing.
Requirements and eligibility
- Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal architectures as required by product designs.
- Utilize tools such as functional block diagrams, flow diagrams, state-diagrams, and others as required in product development.
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, for example, , Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology, and Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Ability to work in both a team and individual setting.
Preferred, not required
- Preferred knowledge of C programming language.
- Preferred knowledge of working with embedded microprocessors and their associated IDE and tools.
