A diverse technology portfolio keeps the ADMS system operational, technologies include: Virtual VxRail Linux and Windows Servers, Multiple Database technologies (Oracle, Sql Server, Cassandra), Palo Alto Firewalls, Mulesoft Enterprise Service Bus, Splunk SIEM, Dynatrace Application Monitoring, GIS Mapping of electrical components to their physical location in ERSI based map systems Under supervision, the co-op will be learning and beginning to perform the following responsibilities: • Provide technical and user support to system operators, division office workers, division engineering, and information technology personnel • Provide training and documentation when needed/requested • Aggregate and model data to assist in the creation of reports and dashboards in various BI tools.
(PowerBI, SSRS, OBIEE) • Analyze, recommend, design, plan, test, implement and support ADMS • Perform system/data analysis, design software enhancements, test system functionality, and maintain application configuration settings of the ADMS applications • Enable smart grid with applications including SCADA, Power Flow, Fault Locating, Switching, Outage Management • Perform root cause analysis and develop action plans and priorities for backlogs (identifying short- and long-term solutions); may lead implementation of plans Available Opportunities: • January – August Spring Co-op Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or computer-related field • Minimum of a 2.
