Intern - Collaboration and Communication Technology

The Collaboration and Communication Technology team supports and manages the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, faxing solutions, and emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day operations through reporting, user provisioning, basic scripting (preferably Python), and other entry-level administrative tasks.

This role is ideal for students with an IT background and an interest in infrastructure technologies, networking, and AI. Primary Accountabilities • Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.

• Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures within collaboration technologies. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.

• Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management. • May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles.

• Presents project results to management and/or department personnel. • Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area. • Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service. • Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.

• Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term. Licenses • Not applicable. Travel Requirements • Up to 10%.
