Requirements and eligibility
- Are pursuing a master’s degree in econometrics, business analytics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative finance, engineering, physics, or a related quantitative STEM field
- If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (that is, , Nuffic agreement).
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
- Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Preferred, not required
- This is a master’s internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 4 days per week, 5 days per week preferred (3 days on-site).

You will combine quantitative and qualitative analyses to create insights, evaluate scenarios, and support structured decision-making. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders while receiving coaching and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Your main responsibilities will be: • Conduct research and translate findings into actionable insights • Analyze and combine quantitative and qualitative data • Support the development of business cases and scenario analyses • Build decision-support models to evaluate strategic options • Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders • Contribute to workshops and structured decision-making activities • Help improve decision science methods and best practices This is a master’s internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 4 days per week, 5 days per week preferred (3 days on-site).
The start date of this internship is as of November 2026 (flexible). Your profile To be suitable for the internship, you: • Are pursuing a master’s degree in econometrics, business analytics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative finance, engineering, physics, or a related quantitative STEM field • Are enrolled at an educational institution throughout the entire internship period • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a complex environment • Communicate clearly and can simplify complex topics for different audiences • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Other requirements you need to meet: • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e.
, Nuffic agreement). This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.
R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
