Louis, MO Who You’ll Work With At Design Group, you’ll collaborate with experienced architects, engineers, project managers, construction professionals, and technical specialists to solve complex challenges for some of the world’s leading companies.

You’ll join a growing team of more than 1,500 professionals across 45 U.S. offices, where you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop your technical expertise, and contribute to meaningful client projects.

What You’ll Do As an AEC Intern or Co-op, you’ll support architecture, engineering, and construction projects for industrial and manufacturing clients.

You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary project teams and gain practical experience throughout the design and project delivery process. Your specific responsibilities will vary based on your area of study, interests, and assigned projects.

• Assist with the development of drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, models, and other project deliverables. • Support architectural, structural, electrical, or construction-related project activities.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, project managers, construction professionals, clients, and vendors. • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, coordination discussions, and site visits.

• Help research and evaluate equipment, materials, codes, standards, and technical requirements. • Support project documentation, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and construction administration activities.

• Assist with field observations, equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, and project closeout, as applicable. • Use industry software and tools to support design, documentation, modeling, and project coordination.

• Develop an understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery within industrial and manufacturing environments. Compensation The approximate pay range for this position is $23–$30 per hour . This range is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including academic level, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and the geographic location of the position.
