This is a paid internship opportunity that offers valuable professional development, leadership exposure, and real-world industry experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Participate in Weekly hospitality training courses that may review various hospitality management skills including but not limited to finance, marketing, customer service, procurement, etc • Actively work in assigned business area in a safe manner .
• Participate in group project with assigned mentor that may be implemented through the property. Topics may vary from year to year . • All other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent • Must be entering junior or senior year of college , with a minimum of 60 credits completed • Preferred Degree of study : Hospitality Management, Sports & Recreation, Business Management, Marketing • Certificate(s) or License(s): None • Years of experience: 0 years required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: • Previous experience in working or volunteering with school age children • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and associates at all levels • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively • CPR certification and basic first aid training preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: • N/A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Regularly walks and stands.
Occasionally sits, lifts up to 50 lbs., and does computer work. Additional Physical Requirements (Please list if applicable) • Works outside in all weather climates INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT : Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
