- Must have basic working knowledge of SQL.

- Previous internship experience is not required but preferred.

We invite you to apply for a career with us. Residency in or relocation to Louisiana is preferred for all positions. Job Duties: The Value Based Operations Intern will support the administration and analysis of value-based healthcare programs.
This role provides hands-on experience with alternative reimbursement, payment and billing methodologies, healthcare operations, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Working alongside Value Based Operations analysts and business partners, the intern will assist with program performance monitoring, payment and billing reconciliation, reporting, and operational projects that help improve value-based care programs and support business decisions.
Required Qualifications: · Degree program(s) / Current Status: Senior level undergraduate, recent graduate or graduate level student in statistics, accounting, finance, math, business administration, healthcare administration, computer science or related field.
• Previous internship experience is not required but preferred. · Cumulative GPA: 3.5+ GPA preferred; minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Other Qualifications: • Must have proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
• Must have basic working knowledge of SQL. • Preferred experience working with databases (MySQL, SQLServer, Teradata, etc.). • Preferred experience working with data visualization software (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
). • Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities. • Must be able to think analytically and present ideas professionally. • Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. • Undergraduates and Graduate Level students must be able to work 20 hours/week during the Spring/Fall semesters and 30-35 hours/week during the summer.
