Aviation Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Job Description: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Participate in foundational training through approved Part 147 technical schools. • Assist licensed AMTs in performing aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Complete structured OJT tasks including aircraft washing, tool control, logbook entries, and maintenance planning. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Document training progress and participate in quarterly performance reviews. • Follow all Bristow safety protocols, SMS principles, and FAA regulations.

• Prepare for and successfully pass the FAA A&P certification exam within 6 months of program completion. • Performing other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Enrollment or completion of FAA Part 147 coursework preferred. • Strong interest in aviation maintenance and mechanical systems. • Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain attention to detail.

• Must be able to meet physical demands of aircraft maintenance work. • Willingness to relocate and travel as needed. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: • Competitive hourly wage with progression at key milestones.
