As the Business Analyst Intern you will be responsible for working with the project leaders to support the gathering, analyzing and recommending business requirements for functional and non-functional projects.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern to support project leaders with gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for functional and non-functional projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with business analysis tools and processes while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

The internship dates are June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027 . This internship is a full-time, hybrid opportunity, requiring three days per week on-site in Newark, DE.

What you'll do

  • Work with project leaders to support the gathering, analysis, and recommendation of business requirements for functional and non-functional projects
  • Collaborate with project teams and internal and external stakeholders to help ensure customer expectations are achieved
  • Elicit and document business requirements and business processes
  • Learn to utilize project tools and techniques foundational to business analysis
  • Develop an understanding of business analysis functions, systems, and processes
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to business analysis

What You'll Need

Required

  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time
  • Ability to conduct tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
