2027 Undergraduate Internship - Change Management (HR)

Job Overview Are you interested in helping employees navigate change while using data and technology to improve how organizations work? Our Change Management Internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting organizational change at one of the world’s busiest airports.

Working alongside DFW Airport’s Senior Change Management Partner, the intern will help design and pilot a Change Management Dashboard that brings visibility to major initiatives, tracks progress, and supports coordination across the organization.

This internship is designed for students pursuing a career in change management, human resources, business administration, organizational development, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.

What you will be doing: • Gathers and organizes information about major change initiatives, including project objectives, timelines, stakeholders, and change management activities.

• Assists with designing and piloting a Change Management Dashboard to display initiative status, key milestones, and available measures of employee readiness and adoption.

• Collaborates with the Change Management Partner and project teams to identify reporting needs, validate information, and establish a consistent process for dashboard updates.

• Supports the tracking of communication, training, and employee engagement activities to help identify potential gaps, overlapping initiatives, and areas needing additional support.

• Collects feedback from dashboard users, recommends improvements, and develops documentation to support ongoing use and expansion as the Change Management Practice grows.

What you need: • Must be an active student in a Bachelor’s degree program in human resources, business administration, organizational development, psychology, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.

• 18 years of age or older. What we desire: • Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, including but not limited to students attending the following universities: University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma.

• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for organizing data and creating reports or dashboards. • Interest in organizational change, project coordination, and using data to communicate progress.
