The intern is an integral part of the design process which creates documents including drawings and digital models that express the design intent and coordinate all show disciplines within the boundaries of the architecture.
The Show Set Department continues its support of the design intent in vendor shops and through installation in the field.
Areas of direct responsibility include all set walls, scenic flats, platforms, ground rows, murals, set decoration, animated props, and artificial foliage.
Through the many artifices of the Stage and Entertainment medias, it is the mission of the Show Set Department to create highly entertaining environments in which the magic of each Disney story is possible.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to read drawing packages and interpret contract documents with a solid knowledge of Excel and MS Word
Eagerness to learn new workflows and ability to critically problem solve interoperability and coordination issues between teams
Valid Driver’s License Required

Ability to create contract documents across a variety of theming styles, using hand drawings, 3D programs (Revit and Rhino preferred).
