What you'll own
- As a DET Publicity Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting multiple publicity teams across Disney Entertainment Television.
- You will assist with day-to-day publicity efforts for our television programming and work alongside publicists on a variety of projects and campaigns.
- You will also support media pitching and outreach, conduct research to identify relevant press opportunities and story angles, assist with talent and media coordination, and provide on-site support at press days, screenings, junkets, premieres and other media events.
- The intern will participate in publicity brainstorms, contribute ideas and research to campaign development, and support publicists in executing show-specific publicity strategies and initiatives.
Requirements and eligibility
- Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to conduct research, identify relevant media opportunities and synthesize sensitive information effectively
