What you'll own

  • The Labor Relations Intern provides day-to-day and project-related support to the Labor Relations team to support site-specific collective bargaining agreements through project work, consultations, grievances, and the resolution of labor-management issues.
  • This position may provide administrative support during union contract negotiations, collective bargaining, and arbitrations.
  • Our Labor Relations Interns need to understand aspects of labor- and human-resources-related laws, including the NLRA and Title VII, and demonstrate initiative as issues arise related to the ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, FMLA & state/local laws and ordinances.
  • Interns should be available to work on-site.

Requirements and eligibility

  • The ability to handle confidential information.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and manage fluctuating priorities.
  • The ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
  • Requirements & Program Information

Preferred, not required

  • High functional knowledge of Workday, SharePoint, and Zoom.
  • Junior or Senior year preferred.
  • Major or previous coursework in Industrial and Labor Relations or a related major preferred.
