DuBois Chemicals is currently offering intern or co-op positions for talented individuals to join our team. As a Co-op Engineering Support, you will have the unique opportunity to work at one or more paper mill sites, collaborating closely with the DuBois support team responsible for these sites.
Our co-op program provides an enriching experience at industry-leading mills in Maine, Alabama or Minnesota You will work in close partnership with the DuBois team, providing vital support to these mills and gaining firsthand experience as a supplier to paper mills while also learning about paper mill operations.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will be involved in a range of essential tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the success of the paper mill operations.
Typical duties will include: • Trial Support : Monitoring critical process parameters, conducting lab studies, and analyzing data to improve mill processes.
• Process Improvement : Developing innovative test procedures, processes, and tools to enhance the efficiency of DuBois’ mill support and the papermaking process.
• Understanding the Manufacturing Process : Learning the mill production process and documenting important information. • Chemical Application Support : Gaining expertise with DuBois’ chemical applications used at the site and documenting their key attributes.
• Benefits Validation : Assessing and validating the positive impact of chemicals employed at the mill site. • Documentation and Reporting : Preparing case studies, customer support materials, service reports, trial updates, and customer reviews.
