**This position can be performed remotely for candidates who reside in CT, MA, or RI** Essential Functions: • Summer paid internship working in one of EMC’s branch underwriting departments • Assists underwriters in obtaining information needed to properly evaluate new business and renewal submissions, including correspondence with agents and other outside sources • Learns EMC culture, business processes and products • Gains an understanding of the insurance underwriting process Education & Experience: • Business major, preferably in insurance, marketing or finance • Completion of junior year preferred • Interest in property casualty insurance career • Cumulative GPA of 3.
