Job Summary 

 To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.
Reporting to the Senior Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like: • Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD • Assist in writing working instructions, check list and other documents related to manufacturing equipment • Help research and recommend support equipment required for continuous production • Help design and monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects • Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment: • Current BS/MS student pursuing Mechanical Engineering major • 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks) experience • Lean/Six Sigma helpful • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills • Previous co-op/internship experience a plus!
Co-Op Program Requirements: • Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the Spring 2027 co-op assignment • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university • 3.

 The base pay range for this position is provided below.
