- You will need to be able to commit to a minimum internship period of 12 to 24 Weeks

Job Description Summary The Production Intern will support the Cell Leader in driving continuous improvement within the production cell, with a focus on lean manufacturing fundamentals — 5S, flow optimization, kaizen events, equipment and tool management, and visual management.
This role offers hands-on exposure to shop-floor operations and lean methodology, ideal for an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

With our technical expertise and pioneering spirit, we elevate the flying experience to new heights. 5S & Workplace Organization • Support 5S audits and help maintain sort, set-in-order, shine, standardize, and sustain practices within the cell • Assist in developing and updating 5S standards, checklists, and audit schedules • Identify and help close gaps found during audits Flow & Process Improvement • Observe and document current-state process flow, cycle times, and material movement • Support time studies and process mapping (value stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams) to identify bottlenecks and waste • Assist in implementing flow improvements alongside the Cell Leader and operators Kaizen & Continuous Improvement • Participate in and help coordinate kaizen events, capturing action items and tracking follow-up • Support root cause analysis for recurring issues affecting flow or output • Help build simple before/after documentation to demonstrate improvement impact Equipment & Tool Management • Assist in organizing tool boards, shadow boards, and point-of-use storage • Support tracking of equipment/tool availability, calibration status, and maintenance schedules • Help identify opportunities to reduce downtime or search time related to tools and equipment Visual Management • Support development and upkeep of visual management boards (performance metrics, and on status, standard work displays) • Help standardize visual controls across the cell for consistency and easy interpretation • Assist in translating data into simple, floor-ready visual formats General Support • Partner with operators and technicians to understand day-to-day cell challenges • Collect and organize data to support Cell Leader's improvement initiatives • Document standard work and process changes as improvements are implemented • Present findings/progress updates to the Cell Leader and broader team as needed Ideal Candidate: • The ideal candidate is an undergrad who can commit to a 12 to 24 Weeks internship which is passionate about facilities management, equipment maintenance and overall building management in the manufacturing industry setting.
Required Qualifications: • Pursuing diploma or degree in Building, Facility Management, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering.
