Our offices in İstanbul and Ankara provide essential support to commercial and defense engines across the country. Our highly skilled engineers at the Türkiye Technology Center contribute to GE Aerospace’s engineering work on indigenous programs, new engine programs, software development, and additive manufacturing, supporting the country’s position as an advanced aerospace hub.

Role Overview: • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

• Have basic understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer. • Write effective codes to automate tasks . • Document technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

• Provide an engineering support to shop on various projects and sustaining efforts. • Fundamental understanding of mechanical design (statics, strength of materials, dynamics etc.

) • Have basic understanding of at least one coding language (Python, C++, etc.) • Have basic understanding of at least one CFD tool (e.g. ANSYS Fluent, CFX, etc.

) • Have basic understanding of at least one modelling tool (e.g. Unigraphics, Solidworks etc.) The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th year Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering student with a solid foundation in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, dynamics, and mechanical design, along with basic knowledge of coding, CFD, and modeling tools.

They are eager to learn, self-motivated, and able to support both engineering projects and shop-floor needs while documenting technical work clearly and accurately.

A strong candidate is also humble, transparent, collaborative, and analytical, with good communication skills in English and Turkish. Required Qualifications: • Undergraduate (year 3/4), Master or PhD student of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.

• Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics & dynamics. • Having coding skills is a plus. (Python language is preferred) • Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing).
