Job Description Purpose • Actively engage with the Supply Chain team to ensure effective wholesale and retail activities • Support the Sales team to develop partnerships with the GMSV and Cadillac Dealer Network underpinned by a vision of becoming a leading automotive partner • Support the Sales team in developing and enhancing customer experience and brand representation through the GMSV & Cadillac Dealer Network.
• Play an active role in identifying opportunities for improving team and process efficiency (internal), and customer satisfaction and brand representation (external).
Position Tasks and Responsibilities • Support the Supply Chain team with order requirements and fulfillment, including the addition of new models and trims to the GM ordering systems to achieve the wholesale and retail forecasts.
• Provide high-quality support to the GMSV and Cadillac dealer network by acknowledging or responding to 95% of various inboxes, including Distribution inbox, Global Connect Inbox and Partner Program inbox queries within 4 hours of each business day.
• Manage accurate monthly reporting for financial rebate programs, with all finance reports submitted by the 3rd business day of the month. • Issue schedules and adhoc correspondence to dealer network as required, with support from the Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Actively engage with local and global colleagues to achieve order requirements and amendments • Work and build relationships with the core sales team, and key internal stakeholder departments including Training, Finance, Aftersales & Customer Care to support operations and deliver a One Team approach.
• Analyse information, from various sources, to prepare reports to support the Sales team, covering key financial and vehicle sales performance KPI’s, as well as customer survey feedback • Understand, analyse and provide updates on Dealer progress through the training requirement for the current calendar year • Liaise with GMANZ technical staff as required on specific customer experience issues on behalf of the Sales team • Undertake special projects as required by the GM Supply Chain and Sales teams • Proactively create, share and pursue personal professional development goals with supervisor • Where applicable, accompany Sales managers to meetings at Dealer premises to assist in the achievement of Dealer objectives • Development and central coordination of Dealer Targets and Allotments processes.
Knowledge: • Interest in cars and the motor industry • Awareness of GM brands Chevrolet, GMC & Cadillac and product range • Awareness of Vehicle Dealer retail processes and aftersales operations • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) Skills: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills • Ability to work autonomously and in an unstructured environment • Initiative and integrity combined with a strong work ethic • Empathy with the customer – capable of giving a balanced view on behalf of the customer Experience/Education: • Partial completion of tertiary studies in Business, Commerce or related business discipline.
• Experience in a business-related industry or customer service role would be highly regarded. • Experience in managing administration for various projects would be highly regarded.
