Job description

We are seeking motivated final-year students to join our Accounts Payable team in Guadalajara. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global finance operations environment. As an intern at Genpact, you will work on real processes that impact our business, build practical accounts payable skills, and prepare for a potential full-time career after graduation.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices accurately in the accounting system
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and flag discrepancies
• Support vendor statement reviews and account reconciliations
• Respond to internal and supplier inquiries on payment status
• Organize and maintain accounting documentation and files
• Support month-end close activities and reporting
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Final-year bachelor’s student with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or January 2027 in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting terminology and how it applies in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
