Job Description Summary One-year TareeGE - MEA Engineering Intern role that focuses on regional engineering operations across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region with the possibility of extension up to one year.
The Engineering trainee will support and progressively take ownership of building a comprehensive component matrix for client GIS substations throughout the region while developing strong foundations in technical analysis and business skills.
The trainee will work closely with experienced team members to support the Engineering MEA team in delivering reliable and actionable technical insights, while actively learning and applying academic knowledge to real-world engineering environments.
This role emphasizes skill development, mentorship, and gradual responsibility in a dynamic regional engineering operations environment. Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO • Support services engineering projects from concept through execution.

• Assist in preparing technical documentation. • If required, participate in site visits, inspections, site activities • Continuously develop technical knowledge and engineering best practices.
WHAT YOU BRING • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanical, Energy, or related discipline). • Strong academic record and understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Familiarity with engineering software relevant to the discipline is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• In line with the localization requirements of UAE, preference will be given to qualified UAE National talents. • UAE Nationals holding a Family Book are encouraged to apply HOW TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE • Fresh graduate or graduated within the last 2 years .
• French Language is a plus. • Internship or co-op experience in an engineering environment. • Basic knowledge of HV products • Exposure to CAD tools, SAP, BO.
