Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. What You Will Do Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Systems Engineering position to support helicopter avionics platforms across multiple programs.

The position will require the verification of software requirements by creating and running functional tests in a laboratory test environment utilizing a combination of simulations and interfacing subsystems.

In addition, the assignment may require assisting in other elements of the system engineering process including requirements analysis and capture, system/sub-system design, software requirements definition, integration, and formal test for requirement verification.

The candidate will perform these assignments in conjunction with other system and software engineers using Collins Aerospace engineering processes. The applicant will be part of a team that supports the Domestic and International UH/HH-60 Black Hawk cockpit upgrades.

Successful programs depend on teamwork grounded in internal communication as well as direct interaction with the end customer including presentations, technical exchanges, and on-site support.

The candidate should be self-motivated and willing to work and learn in a fast paced environment as part of a dynamic and growing subsystem development team.

Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in all facets of system development and familiar with common system engineering tools and practices.

• Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
