We have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer Intern seeking to advance their strong academic background and experience in digital and/or RF/Microwave systems.
The candidate will be supporting team members responsible for designing and testing electronics of various complexity in a team environment. The candidate will be responsible for scheduling tasks, providing status, and working with a team of engineers, program managers, and supply chain.
Qualifications You Must Have: • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. • Hands-on experience testing electronic products using bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers or vector network analyzers.
• Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics. • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer: • Experience designing airborne electronic products with attendant size, weight, power, and cost requirements. • Knowledge of mixed signal electronics.
• RF and Microwave design experience • Strong understanding of first principals and a love for Physics • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 42,000 USD - 88,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
