About the Organisation Christchurch Engine Centre, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Air New Zealand, delivers world-class maintenance, repair, and overhaul services across all IAE V2500 engine variants and is adding capability for the new PW1100G-JM engine late in 2026.

To discover more about Christchurch Engine Center, visit www.pwnz.com. The role will be project based and the student will split his/her time between the Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Estimating & Invoicing teams.

He/she will be guided and supervised by the CFO and respective Finance team leader. The role will be mainly focused on: • Preparation for the year-end external audit by PwC – statutory account preparation & reconciliations, document preparation etc.

Knowledge of statutory accounting is not essential. • Inventory and Fixed Asset reviews • Assist with Pratt & Whitney monthly & year-end reports. • Review standard work for accounting & controls.

• Projects in relation to Accounts Payable analysis, taxation. • Reviews of accounting templates & other adhoc items, such as Purchase Order files, Tax files, Statistics reporting.
