Learning + Development Intern

Job Description: Note: This internship is for Summer 2027. Your role as a Human Resource L+D Intern This internship will be focused on Learning & Development within the Human Capital team.

• Gain on-the-job experience in Learning & Development through hands-on, project-based assignments. • Translate concepts learned in the classroom into real-world learning solutions.

• Gain exposure to other areas of Human Capital and the business and learn how Learning & Development supports the organization. • Support the design, development, and maintenance of employee and leadership learning resources.

• Gain hands-on experience with Learning & Development projects that may include: • Creating or updating online learning modules using tools such as Articulate 360.

• Updating and enhancing existing learning content, including PowerPoint presentations, facilitator materials, participant resources, and other training tools.

• Reviewing and updating resources within the Harris Leadership Toolkit. • Supporting the administration of learning in Workday Learning, including course information, assignments, completions, and learning records.

• Assisting with learning data, registration, reporting, and assessments. • Researching learning topics, tools, and best practices to support current and future L&D initiatives.

What we are looking for in you • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Marketing, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong interest in Learning & Development and enthusiasm for creating engaging learning experiences. • Comfortable learning and working with technology; experience with learning management systems or eLearning development tools is a plus but not required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
