Job Description: UPS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) delivers end-to-end   logistics   solutions through business units such as Global Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean Freight), Warehousing & Distribution, Transportation Management, Customs Brokerage, Service Parts Logistics, Healthcare Logistics, and Supply Chain Design & Optimization.

The SCS Internship Program creates value by placing interns on meaningful projects that directly support these organizations through data analysis, process improvement, research, and strategic problem-solving.

Unlike traditional internships, many SCS projects do not have predefined solutions or step-by-step instructions, requiring interns to navigate ambiguity, engage stakeholders, and develop actionable recommendations.

Because of the complexity and business impact of this work, we seek top talent from supply chain, engineering, analytics, technology, business, and related disciplines who   demonstrate   strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and communication skills.

The program not only delivers immediate business value but also serves as a strategic pipeline for   identifying   and developing future talent capable of solving the complex challenges that drive SCS forward.

Job Summary This position provides direct support to the department by   assisting   with analysis, research, reporting, solution creation, and preparation of presentation materials.

He/She   researches and uses analytical skills to help address specific business needs, perform data analyses, and creates recommendations based on findings.

This position communicates results to key stakeholders and proactively addresses related issues. Responsibilities: • Develops actionable research   objectives   to address key business issues.

• Performs analysis, analyzes data, and interprets findings to ensure comprehensive understanding of results before presenting to stakeholders. • Maintains an understanding of current market and industry practices to   leverage   existing knowledge and   optimize   the development of customer analysis.

• Communicates findings and insights from analysis to key stakeholders. Qualifications: • Rising college junior or senior, graduate student or recent graduate within the last   24 months   pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint,   Excel   and   Power BI • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Experience with SQL and Python   or similar programming language   required • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently • This position will require you to be in person based out of Atlanta or Alpharetta, Georgia Employee Type: Intern UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
