  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Business, IT, or a related field, or a recent graduate within the last 24 months.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

  • Interest in exploring multiple aspects of corporate business.
  • Interest in evaluating business processes and identifying operational improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to support business decision-making.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with industry-specific tools is a plus.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, data analytics, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Pay and perks

  • The base pay ranges from $16.00/hour to $30.00/hour for Undergraduate Interns or $27.40/hour to $52.00/hour for Postgraduate Interns.
  • Hired applicants may be eligible for 401(k) retirement program, Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Program, and personal time.

Program overview

UPS Digital, formerly UPS Capital, is evolving into a technology-driven business unit focused on creating innovative digital solutions that power commerce and logistics. As part of this transformation, we’re excited to launch our 2027 Summer Internship Program, offering students hands-on experience within one of our key departments aligned to their skills, interests, and career goals. Beyond their primary assignments, interns will have opportunities to collaborate across teams, gain insight into different areas of the business, and develop a well-rounded understanding of how a modern, tech-focused corporate environment operates.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects and day-to-day activities within your assigned department to support business goals.
  • Conduct research and provide analysis to help drive team objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues on key initiatives.

  • Attend company-wide events, presentations, and cross-functional meetings to learn more about the organization’s overall structure and goals.

Pay range

Pay for this internship is based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, education level, and course of study. The base pay ranges from $16.00/hour to $30.00/hour for Undergraduate Interns or $27.40/hour to $52.00/hour for Postgraduate Interns. Hired applicants may be eligible for 401(k) retirement program, Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Program, and personal time.
