Allegheny Health Network Job Description :
This job, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist performs a wide variety of technical and clinical duties for the hospital wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program.
Maintains confidential reports, entering, and retrieving data utilizing the computer system, prepares intravenous medication, fill routine orders for unit dose and prepackaged pharmaceuticals, and provides accurate assistance to the pharmacist in performing daily duties.
All orders are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.

Maintains competence required for current position and has ability to perform all technician duties to assist in training of new employees and students.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Enrolled in a School of Pharmacy or Foreign pharmacy graduate and has applied for a Pharmacy Intern license within the state of PA within 120 days of hire
