Where You’ll Make a Difference • Conduct grinding and preparation of feed and feed ingredient samples for enzyme activity analysis. • Perform enzyme assays, nutritional analyses, and other laboratory testing activities according to established procedures.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, and laboratory solutions required for testing and analysis. • Support routine calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory inventories, including chemicals, consumables, and glassware. • Manage laboratory documentation and records, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
• Support laboratory safety activities, including maintaining MSDS records and promoting safe laboratory practices. • Assist with general laboratory operations and other assigned laboratory-related activities.
What Makes You the Right Fit • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Animal Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques, analytical testing, and scientific methodologies. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Good organizational and time management skills. • Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data management.
How Would You Stand Out? • Knowledge of enzymes and their application within the Animal Nutrition or Feed Industry. • Previous internship, academic project, or laboratory experience in biochemical, microbiological, or analytical testing environments.
