Taylor Hall Pay Grade: Job Description: Intern will participate in a research internship focused on the implementation, validation, and application of advanced fiber-optic temperature sensing techniques for experimental studies of transient CO2 absorption, desorption, and expansion phenomena in drilling-fluid systems.

The internship combines laboratory training, instrumentation development, data acquisition, experimental testing, and engineering analysis. The Student Intern will work as part of an ongoing research program within the Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering, collaborating closely with doctoral researchers while receiving individualized mentoring from the faculty supervisor.

The internship is designed as an educational training experience emphasizing the acquisition of research skills rather than routine laboratory assistance.
