Reliability Intern

APM Terminals Are you passionate about engineering, industrial equipment, data analysis, and continuous improvement? Join our Global Reliability team and gain hands-on experience supporting reliability initiatives that help keep world-class port operations running safely and efficiently.

As a Reliability Intern , you will work closely with the Global Reliability Center of Excellence, gaining exposure to reliability engineering practices, maintenance strategies, asset management, and data-driven decision-making while supporting projects across our global terminal network.

What You'll Be Doing • Support the standardization and documentation of reliability processes. • Review reliability and equipment failure data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

• Assist in asset criticality assessments, maintenance strategy reviews, and preventive maintenance evaluations. • Organize technical documentation, reports, action plans, and project records.

• Help monitor reliability initiatives and prepare updates for technical teams. • Support maintenance and reliability reporting activities through data organization and analysis.

• Collaborate with global stakeholders and internal teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture in all activities.

What We're Looking For Education • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: • Industrial Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Electronic Engineering • Mechatronics Engineering • Or a related field Skills & Knowledge • Basic understanding of maintenance management, industrial equipment, or technical systems.

• Familiarity with process mapping tools such as MS Visio or similar applications is desirable. • Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and data analysis tools is an advantage.

• Exposure to reliability methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Analysis, or Maintenance Strategy Review is a plus. • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is desirable but not required.

Personal Attributes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. • Self-motivated and results-driven.

• Comfortable working in multicultural and global environments. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Language • Intermediate English (B2 level or above), both written and spoken.
