What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day Lead Logistics activities while gaining practical exposure to supply chain operations, customer experience, documentation, and data analysis.
  • Working under the guidance of a Team Leader or Manager, the intern will complete assigned tasks accurately, follow established procedures, and contribute ideas that improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support assigned operational and administrative activities in line with team priorities and agreed service levels.
  • Prepare, check, and maintain shipment, customer, and operational documentation accurately and on time.
  • Update trackers, reports, and system records using information provided by the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate routine follow-ups with internal teams and, where assigned, customers or service partners.

  • Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Organised, attentive to detail, and able to manage assigned tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, curious, and willing to learn, ask questions, and receive feedback.
  • Technical Knowledge

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of logistics or supply chain concepts is an advantage but not required.

Support day-to-day Lead Logistics activities while gaining practical exposure to supply chain operations, customer experience, documentation, and data analysis. Working under the guidance of a Team Leader or Manager, the intern will complete assigned tasks accurately, follow established procedures, and contribute ideas that improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Support assigned operational and administrative activities in line with team priorities and agreed service levels.
  • Prepare, check, and maintain shipment, customer, and operational documentation accurately and on time.
  • Update trackers, reports, and system records using information provided by the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate routine follow-ups with internal teams and, where assigned, customers or service partners.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, internal controls, data privacy requirements, and Maersk policies.
  • Respond to routine enquiries promptly and escalate exceptions, risks, or unclear instructions to the supervisor.
  • Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and process-improvement activities.
  • Complete other internship-related tasks and learning assignments agreed with the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
