Mars   Snacking   Packaging Co-Op Experience As a Mars   Snacking   Packaging Co-Op, you will gain exposure to the following areas: • As a Packaging Engineer, you   are responsible for   the below: • Lead and execute packaging innovation projects under the guidance of packaging associates.

• Support ideating and realizing value leadership and cost savings goals. • Develop detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money on all packaging components used at our facilities, co- packers   and co-manufacturers.

• Perform packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars Wrigley sustainability goals. • Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, activity management, finance, industrial   engineer   and others.

• The Mars   Co-Op is a   7 month   summer/fall program providing excellent depth of experience with various real world Mars projects. What   we’re   looking for: • We are looking for agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.

• We are looking for students who are passionate about packaging and the consumer products industry. • Prefer   a student earning a Packaging Engineering degree.

• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date. • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening. • Eligible candidates will   be responsible for   personal transportation to and from work   site   during   duration   of the internship program .

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
