Join our team of world-class experts and make a difference in an exciting new career opportunity What You Can Expect Marvell is looking for embedded firmware engineers to be part of an exciting firmware team for PHY IP development.

As a Firmware Engineer intern, What You Need for this Position BS 3 rd or 4th-year student or Master student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Knowledge of microcontrollers; • Experience with microcontroller programming is a plus • Knowledge of embedded firmware design, development, and debugging • Experience with CI/CD, for example Jenkins system • Strong Python programming skills • Experience in C/C++ programming in a bare-metal embedded environment is a plus • Good technical communication and problem-solving skills • Experience/ knowledge with chip design simulation and verification is a plus • Experience/ knowledge with SERDES technology and PCIe host interface is a plus • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and LLM is a plus What We're Looking For • FW development of Marvell Serdes IP • Be responsible for the development and verification of new firmware modules • Work on developing CI/CD process • Deliver module documents, module design specs, firmware source code, and build scripts • Perform tasks including debugging, bring-up, and production firmware development • Collaborate with firmware, design, application, and SoC team Expected Base Pay Range (CAD) 32 - 43, $ per hour.
