We are hiring for two Program Management Intern openings, each supporting a different technology team. Please indicate clearly on your CV or cover letter which opportunity they are most interested in.

Technical Program Management: Team profile The Build Factory & Modernization team supports global data-centre and product deployments. The team coordinates technical delivery across engineering and partner teams, ensuring that dependencies are managed, progress is visible and the required components are ready for launch.

Role description As a Technical Program Management Intern, you will support the planning, execution and delivery of a technical workstream from inception through completion.

You will work across teams to coordinate engineering delivery, monitor dependencies and help address gaps or blockers that could affect successful delivery.

Your responsibilities may include: Supporting the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules Tracking data-centre deployments, product integrations, scope, timing and delivery Coordinating work and dependencies across engineering and partner teams Monitoring delivery progress and providing clear, data-supported updates Identifying gaps, dependencies and blockers that may affect delivery Supporting project delivery within established frameworks and processes Reviewing metrics and identifying improved ways to provide program visibility Developing knowledge in areas such as software engineering, data centres, security or operations Turning complex or unstructured information into clear communications and instructions Requirements Requirements: Availability: Must be available between 21st June until 27th August 2027 Undergraduate or master’s student with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027-July 2028 Currently studying: Project Management or Program Management, Systems Analysis, Computing or Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline You should also have: An interest in infrastructure, data-centre projects or new software-product deployments An interest in supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders in a global organization Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills The ability to communicate complex infrastructure or technical information to non-technical and senior stakeholders Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills Curiosity and a willingness to build expertise in a technical domain Availability to work onsite in the Dublin Tech Hub office at least three days per week Program Management: Team profile The Technology Regulatory Execution team supports the coordinated delivery of Mastercard’s technology regulatory obligations.

The team works across functions to align priorities, dependencies and outcomes, while supporting effective governance, reporting and execution. Role description As a Program Management Intern, you will support program managers with the planning, execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives and projects.

You will work with stakeholders across the organization to coordinate activities, track progress and help ensure that key deliverables are completed on time.

Your responsibilities may include: Maintaining project schedules, milestones, action items and deliverables Supporting leadership updates, presentations, dashboards and management reporting Coordinating meetings, documenting decisions and following up on agreed actions Monitoring program risks, issues and dependencies Analyzing project and program data to identify actionable insights Maintaining accurate documentation and governance records Supporting process improvements that strengthen program efficiency and consistency Learning how technology initiatives contribute to broader business and organizational priorities Requirements Availability: Must be available between 21st June until 27th August 2027 Undergraduate or master’s student with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027-July 2028 Currently studying: Project Management, Program Management, Business or a related discipline, with a demonstrated interest in technology, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, commonly referred to as Systems Analysis, Computing or Computer Science You should also have: An interest in supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders in a global organization An interest in technology and how technology programs support business and regulatory objectives Strong problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to understand technical topics and communicate them clearly to non-technical or senior stakeholders Strong organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different teams Availability to work onsite in the Dublin Tech Hub office at least three days per week Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: • Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; • Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
