Job Description Engineering Intern Role at Ballydine Our company start your journey on the career path within the Pharmaceutical industry. So, what will you will be responsible for? Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: • Work as part of the Maintenance Engineering team supporting day to day plant operation and maintenance.
• Work in conjunction with the Reliability Engineer in the preparation, support during and close out of Risk Based Asset Management (RBAM) Events and Reliability Engineering projects that will improve plant uptime and performance.
• Assist in the development and execution and data analysis of the Mechanical Integrity Programme for the site. • Work with the Site Electrical Engineer in the review of capital projects, Electrical System Maintenance, Programmes such as ATEX inspection and ARC Flash mitigation.
• Support the sites Predictive Maintenance system (Vibration, Thermal, Oil Analysis, etc.), while testing emerging technologies towards achieving a new Digital Reliability strategy.
• Implement ongoing improvements to the site Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) via change control process under the guidance of the Reliability Engineer.
• Responsible for progressing the build of Bill of Materials (BOM’s) on critical equipment within API production facilities to the point of order with on-site vendor.
• Support the M&I departments MRO spend management program to identify potential cost saving opportunities and eliminate non-valued added activities. • Data Mining and Analysis Activities – use of tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI.
• Participate in writing/revising/ rolling out accurate operational procedures, training materials and maintenance procedures for various systems. This internship will be completed fully on site (Ballydine) The ideal person will have: • Working towards a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant discipline • Strong communication skills and ability to work on own initiative will be a prerequisite.
