What you'll own
- Under the direction of the Client Audit Director ("CAD") and the Auditor-in-Charge ("AIC"), the internship participant will:
- Participate in the execution of financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, integrated audits and process audits to maintain a strong internal control environment at our company.
- Under the direction of the AIC, partner with colleagues and clients, support groups, and other organizations to effectively complete all assigned audit work.
- Execute audit programs and work papers (including walkthroughs and sample testing) in line with the established quality standards and timelines.

- Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates must have proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Candidates must have the ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.
Preferred, not required
- Candidates must be current Juniors enrolled in a BS in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Analytics preferred, but all business majors may be considered (including Management, Marketing, or Economics).
- Academic curriculum focus on data analytics is preferred.

Job Description The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include several projects. These opportunities will provide you with a variety of experiences and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Successful internship participants will be considered for a full-time position within our Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). Job Description Our Finance team brings financial perspectives into overall strategic and tactical decision making.
We use state-of-the-art techniques for financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation. This allows the organization to continue advancing medical innovation and improve lives.
Position Overview: Our Company's Corporate Audit and Assurance Services Internship participants will be placed onto monthly audit projects. These teams collaborate with stakeholders across the Finance organization, helping to solve vital business needs for Finance by leveraging data analytics and understanding implications on global healthcare systems.
Corporate Audit and Assurance Services Internship participants also have the opportunity to work alongside fellow interns on a project and presentation, develop data and analytic capabilities, and network with senior leaders within the Audit department and across the broader Finance organization.
By joining the internship, individuals will gain an understanding of how the company is fulfilling its purpose of inventing medicines to improve people’s lives.
The internship will allow individuals to gain knowledge on products, healthcare systems, payors, and regulatory and reputational risks while working intimately with our global business operations.
In addition, individuals will use data analytics to gain insights into business practices and the execution of the company’s strategy; this includes a deeper knowledge of internal controls, business compliance, and risk management.
Individuals will be based in the global headquarters in Rahway, NJ. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Client Audit Director ("CAD") and the Auditor-in-Charge ("AIC"), the internship participant will: • Participate in the execution of financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, integrated audits and process audits to maintain a strong internal control environment at our company.
• Under the direction of the AIC, partner with colleagues and clients, support groups, and other organizations to effectively complete all assigned audit work.
• Execute audit programs and work papers (including walkthroughs and sample testing) in line with the established quality standards and timelines. • Collaborate with the audit team in the writing of audit summaries of issues and reports which accurately describe identified control concerns, associated risks, and appropriate recommendations.
• Participate in department projects and ensure the realization of the specified results. • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and independence in the execution of duties with the highest level of integrity and quality.

Internship participants will prepare and deliver presentations to both peers and leaders, sharing their successes and lessons learned. This is a full-time summer position spanning from June to August 2027 .
The internship is designed to be completed by juniors who are still enrolled in classes. During the summer, interns will complete comprehensive onboarding and training.
This training will provide expansive business, industry, and audit knowledge. Additionally, the training will develop overall finance and business acumen, enhance leadership skills, and offer extensive networking opportunities.
