2027 Future Talent Program - Aircraft Technician - Intern

Job Description The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

This internship is for a student who has acquired their FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. They will be working to: • Gain knowledge in Aircraft Hourly and Calendar Inspections • Ramp Safety • Aircraft Movements, and Passenger Transfers.

• Aircraft Fuel Farm Operation: Receiving and Testing Fuel for Quality Assurance Standards and Aircraft Refueling. • Aircraft Preflight and Postflight inspections, Part Transactions with Electronic Logbook entries and Digital Signatures.

• Utilizing Maintenance Information Systems, and Electronic Maintenance Manuals. • Aircraft Navigational Database Loading and Fault History Downloads.

• Understanding Fault Isolation Manuals, Wiring Diagram Manuals and Maintenance Manual procedures and protocol. Required Experience and Skills: • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor of Science degree, in Aviation Maintenance Technology, or other related disciplines.

• High school diploma or GED with FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required. Preferred Experience and Skills: • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, or demonstrated progress toward certification • Demonstrated mechanical ability and knowledge of aircraft systems Please note that this position may be closed before the posted end date or may remain open longer, at the discretion of the company.
