Requirements and eligibility

  • Our Supply Chain Planning team is looking for a graduate student who is curious about how consumer demand, marketplace strategies and product plans come together to shape an integrated operating plan.
  • You bring strong analytical thinking, business judgment and an ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommended actions.
  • As a Supply Chain Planning Graduate Intern, you will work within North America Marketplace Planning and across a broad cross-functional network.
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA or relevant graduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.

Preferred, not required

  • 3-5 years work experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with forecasting, business planning, demand planning, inventory planning or financial planning is preferred.
  • Understanding of retail or supply chain metrics such as sales, sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory, revenue and margin is preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE: In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you’ll contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives that align with the NIKE, Inc.

strategic roadmap. With the guidance of senior leaders and experienced managers, you’ll take ownership of a project that’s been scoped to drive impact.

These projects are designed to challenge your critical thinking, further develop your skills and foster effective collaboration while contributing directly to your team’s goals.

As a Supply Chain Planning Graduate Intern, you will work within North America Marketplace Planning and across a broad cross-functional network. You may have the opportunity to: • Support demand, sales, receipt and inventory planning across a portfolio of marketplace partners, sports or product areas.

• Analyze consumer, marketplace, financial and inventory data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and planning trade-offs. • Help connect top-down financial targets with bottoms-up product and inventory plans across pre-season and in-season timeframes.

• Support recurring planning processes and the reconciliation of operational, assortment and marketplace plans. • Build forecasts, scenarios, dashboards or decision frameworks that improve visibility and enable timely action.

• Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate decision impacts to cross-functional partners and leaders. • Contribute to tools, playbooks or process improvements that strengthen planning consistency, accuracy and connectivity.

• Academic or professional background in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Finance, Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field. • 3-5 years work experience strongly preferred • A resume and cover letter are both required.

• Understanding of retail or supply chain metrics such as sales, sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory, revenue and margin is preferred. • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data analysis.

• Experience with data visualization or analytical tools is a plus. • Knowledge of consumers, competitors, retail trends or the sports apparel and footwear marketplace is a plus.
