This individual will work closely with data scientists, and business stakeholders to assist in data preparation, model development, and visualization efforts.

The intern will gain hands-on experience with modern data science tools and techniques while contributing to real-world projects. Job Responsibilities • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis.

• Support the development and testing of predictive models and machine learning algorithms. • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively using tools like Power BI or AI/BI dashboard in Databricks.

• Write scripts in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation using Databricks. • Collaborate with team members to validate model performance and document findings.

• Research emerging data science technologies and evaluate their applicability within NJM’s ecosystem. Required Qualifications • Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent • Minimum GPA of 3.

0 (3.5 or above is preferred) • Demonstrate knowledge of Power BI and Databricks • Demonstrate knowledge in the analytical programing knowledge of Python • Commutable to our West Trenton, New Jersey office The IT Data Science Intern position can pay $21-25 hour.
