  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

  • Prior field operations or construction internship experience is a plus
  • Onsite locations available across North America
  • The hourly range for this role is $25/hr to $32/hr.

Want to gain experience in Field Operations? Join us as a Field Operations Intern in Summer 2027! This role provides immersive, hands-on experience in a field operations environment.

Candidates should be comfortable working onsite at customer and construction locations, collaborating with field teams, and learning the responsibilities of a Field Supervisor, including jobsite coordination, safety, customer interaction, and project execution.

Our comprehensive internship program will allow you to gain hands-on experience and broaden your operations, communication, and business acumen skills.

You’ll be immersed in the Otis culture where we collaborate to best serve our customers; and where we empower and inspire each other through support, autonomy, and trust.

Our Interns are assigned progressively challenging projects that support growth in our various lines of business—servicing existing elevators and escalators, installing new elevators and escalators, and modernizing elevators that have reached their natural life cycle.

The projects assigned are related to core branch office functions that are customer focused, result-oriented, and performance driven which will require teamwork, research, and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time, paid summer internship, starting June 2027 and ranging from 10-12 weeks. Throughout your internship, we provide continuous training and performance feedback to ensure you develop the necessary skills to succeed.

Additional career opportunities are available upon conclusion of a successful internship, including placement as an entry-level Field Operations Trainee.

Education • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, and related fields Qualifications • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities Preferred Qualifications • Prior field operations or construction internship experience is a plus Location • Onsite locations available across North America The hourly range for this role is $25/hr to $32/hr.
