Posting Close Date: 09/29/2026 Ovintiv’s program is a comprehensive summer internship designed to provide a solid foundation of knowledge and experiential training, while giving students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in school in a real-world setting.

As a student, you will spend the summer working closely with an experienced mentor and be assigned a project and various other responsibilities intended to provide you with learning opportunities while delivering meaningful contributions to Ovintiv.

Students o n our Air Quality Team will have a role in helping to ensure that we meet these critical commitments, while learning at the same time. To ensure students are given relevant, value- add and meaningful assignments, we do not create specific work projects until a successful candidate is chosen.

Responsibilities Some responsibilities of this role may include working on things such as compliance data analysis , calculating and tracking emissions, regulatory reporting, helping to drive meaningful emissions reductions , relaying best practices, and encouraging innovation and new technology .

Examples of recent projects include: • Leak detection and repair (LDAR) – Our comprehensive leak detection and repair program includes detection, repair, documentation, data analysis and directed maintenance.

• GHG emissions – Collaborate with operations and our data and analytics teams to ensure GHG emissions are ca lculated appropriately in our emissions management system.

Qualifications • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering , environmental science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a closely related field.

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 202 7 . • Must be available May 17 – August 5, 2027. • Reside or willing to reside in Denver, CO .

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. w ithout sponsorship. In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Ovintiv's reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.
