JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern must possess strong business acumen and a dynamic personality as this position interacts with management and business teams on multiple projects to drive performance and support company initiatives.

The Intern will design, develop, modify, document and deliver high ‐ quality analysis and reports that meet the business’s needs and improve overall results.

The Intern will also perform a hybrid set of duties to support advanced analytics capabilities within FP&A. This is an on-site role located in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities include: • Using financial and operational data to identify and communicate key business drivers, operational metrics, emerging trends, and other key variables.

• Reviewing and analyzing financial information and providing insights in order to improve business performance. • Designing reports or visualizations independently or by interpreting the requirements that management, business, and sponsors provide and translating them into reports that improve operational efficiency and better decision making.

• Performing a variety of reporting assignments requiring knowledge of an emerging set of capabilities and tools that allow users to extract predictive and prescriptive insights.

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing reports using SQL and Microsoft tools with a data visualization layer. • Assisting in the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly rolling forecasts.

• Partnering with business teams in evaluating opportunities, performing value-added ad-hoc analyses, and special projects as required. • Developing appropriate and meaningful methods of communicating complex financial data in an easy-to-understand format, including developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for communicating operational and financial results.

We post Internships in early September with the intention of having interns selected by November 1st. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to suggest solutions. • Strong Customer Service skills, with an emphasis on relationship building.

• Knowledge of the basics of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Microsoft excel and Power PI, preferred. • Capable of learning new programs and software.
