Requirements and eligibility

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Environmental Economics, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainable Resource Management
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program.
  • Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.

Preferred, not required

  • Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
  • Demonstrating knowledge in carbon accounting and carbon footprint measurement

Within our Advisory practice, you will be part of a team that guides clients through strategy, operations, technology, and risk management, helping them achieve their sustainability goals.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to projects that focus on enterprise-wide sustainability value and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, addressing frameworks, metrics, and reporting considerations.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks and conducting research. You will observe professional work environments and participate in projects, applying a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development.

This role encourages you to appreciate diverse perspectives, actively listen, and clearly express ideas, while gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.

Responsibilities - Supporting teams in sustainability strategy development and implementation - Participating in projects focused on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics - Conducting research on sustainability frameworks and metrics to enhance reporting accuracy - Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of sustainability - Assisting in the analysis of carbon accounting and carbon footprint data - Engaging in climate change adaptation program design and evaluation - Collaborating on climate finance initiatives to support mitigation and adaptation actions - Contributing to the development of sustainability governance strategies - Gathering information to analyze climate change impacts and risks - Applying a learning mindset to understand sustainability practices and methodologies What You Must Have - Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Environmental Economics, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainable Resource Management - At least a 3.

25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
